On June 17th, at 16:53 hrs. Monongah Fire Department was alerted for a possible structure fire in the 1500 block of Country Club Road. Crews arrived on scene to find a small fire that was contained to the kitchen area and affected the dishwasher and immediate areas. The fire was extinguished by a fire extinguisher prior to the Fire Department arriving. Members of Monongah and Valley Fire Department’s utilized a thermal imaging camera to check for fire extension around the affected area and ventilated the residence for smoke removal.
